Commitment and Consistency

It’s 3 o’clock in the morning and I’m going through some of the photos on my phone to clear space. I was so disappointed earlier today when I went to take a picture and received the ugly iPhone message that my storage was full. How? I pay additional monthly for storage and even that was full. I guess with 99,000+ pictures, I may have used the phone and cloud to their absolute max.

Anywho, as I go back through the years I see how my level of commitment to capturing special moments has created a consistent level of appreciation for the tiny moments. I’ve committed to being more present over the years and not just capturing instagramable pictures, but pictures that matter. I want this level of commitment and consistency to carry over into the other areas of life that God is calling me to. Those two “C” words can change the trajectory of my life positively and others’ lives if I steward them well. They can also change yours.

I’m not sure exactly where I want to put that focus yet, but I know I can’t spread my commitments consistently everywhere.

I just want to do less with more intentionality.

Just some 3am thoughts…
